A Cascade of Light for Double Height Spaces
The Schwung Babylon Cluster 7 Chandelier drops seven cords of varying length from a single ceiling canopy, each ending in a stacked disc shade and a bulb, with faceted marble spheres strung along several of the cords.
Marble and Brass Finish Options
The cluster is available in four brass and marble pairings:
- Classic Bronze and Rosso Levanto
- Mahogany Brass and Calacatta Viola
- Tarnished Silver Brass and Calacatta Black
- Vintage Brass and Verde Alpi
Because the spheres are natural marble, expect some variation in colour and veining between individual pieces.
How It Works
Adjustable Drop
The cords can be set anywhere from 591mm to 2900mm below the ceiling, so the cluster can be configured for a standard room or a full height stairwell.
Light Output
Seven included 4W LED bulbs (around 15W halogen equivalent) combine for 1540 lumens, at a warm 2200 to 3000K colour temperature.

At up to 2900mm drop and 29.5kg, this is built for genuine double height spaces, tagged specifically for dining rooms, hallways and stairs, whether as a stairwell centrepiece or hung low over a large dining table.
Made By Schwung
Rudi Nijssen, an antiques dealer, and Dominique Sente, a former goldsmith, founded Schwung together. Every piece the studio makes is designed in house and produced in Poland from solid brass and mouth blown or cast glass, finished by hand before it's checked and packed.
