A Constellation Along a Single Line
The Schwung Babylon Linear 7 Light Chandelier hangs seven bulbs at staggered heights from a slender horizontal frame, each one set beneath a pair of angled brass discs, with faceted marble spheres strung along the rods between them.
Marble and Brass Finish Options
Choose from four brass and marble pairings, each giving the piece a different character:
- Classic Bronze and Rosso Levanto
- Mahogany Brass and Calacatta Viola
- Tarnished Silver Brass and Calacatta Black
- Vintage Brass and Verde Alpi
As with all natural marble, expect gentle variation in colour and veining between individual pieces.
How It Works
Adjustable Drop
The central rod adjusts from 1136mm up to 2142mm, so the chandelier can be set higher or lower depending on ceiling height and the table beneath it.
Light Output
Seven included 4W LED bulbs (around 15W halogen equivalent) combine for 1540 lumens, at a warm 2200 to 3000K colour temperature.
Where It Works Best
At 1452mm long, its horizontal spread is built for a dining table or kitchen island rather than a single point of light, which is why it's tagged specifically for kitchens and dining rooms.
Made By Schwung
Behind every Schwung piece are two founders: Rudi Nijssen, an antiques dealer, and Dominique Sente, a former goldsmith. Their studio designs each fitting in house and has it made in Poland from solid brass and mouth blown or cast glass, finished and checked by hand before it ships.
